Learn the Skills to Foster Deep, Meaningful Relationships.

You might be processing a rupture, stuck in recurring relational pain, or practicing boundary-building without results.

You may already ready books, do therapy, or talk the talk, but still feel disconnected. This session is for you if you want practical insight, to be seen, and to leave with a plan.

Relational skills are the missing link to true interdependence.

This Strategy Session Is for You If…

You’re in the thick of something and just want someone wise and grounded to help you see it clearly

You’ve been on the receiving end of someone else’s rupture, and you're not sure how to repair, or if you even should.

You’re a therapist, coach, or educator who’s been integrating my work into your sessions but want guidance around your own stuck places.

You’re doing deep healing work and need a mirror. Someone who can name things plainly without pathologizing you

You’re craving guidance from someone who won’t coddle you or judge you.

You want new perspective that isn’t therapy-speak

You want encouragement and honesty, not just cheerleading

You want to be reminded that you’re already doing great

If you’ve always wanted to “pick my brain,” this is your chance

SPEND AN HOUR WITH ME

What We’ll Do Together in 60 Minutes

We’ll begin by mapping your current relational challenge or pattern. Whether it’s:

  • a rupture you don’t know how to repair,

  • a boundary you’re unsure how to set,

  • a dynamic that feels manipulative but confusing,

  • or a pattern that keeps repeating even though you’re trying your best...

We’ll name what’s happening and what it's costing you. Then I’ll offer clarity, language, and next steps. That might look like:

  • Live feedback on a message you’re writing

  • A reframe to help you release shame and get to the root

  • Questions that bring you closer to your own inner knowing

  • Language for care, repair, and authenticity

  • A reality check when you’re stuck between “am I asking too much” vs “am I betraying myself again?”

You’ll walk away with practical insight, language to use, and a deeper sense of your own power. Not power over someone else; power to be honest, to stay soft, and to choose relationships that can hold all of you.

What This is NOT

Not therapy. I am not a therapist nor do I offer crisis support

Not coaching in the traditional sense

No homework, no deliverables, no follow-up assignments

No promised outcomes

Not a substitute for long-term mental health care

If you’re a therapist, coach, or facilitator, this isn’t just personal, it’s professional. I’ve had so many of you tell me you’re integrating my frameworks into your client sessions, group programs, and even supervision.

You’re actively trying to bring more nuance, more integrity, and more liberatory values into the healing work you offer.

  • But maybe you’ve hit a wall.

  • Maybe you’re realizing that the tools you were trained in don’t fully hold the realities of your clients, especially if they’re queer, racialized, disabled, or navigating complex trauma in the context of empire.

  • Maybe you’ve been following my work and thinking, “I want to bring this into my practice, but I don’t know how to translate it without flattening it.”

That’s what this session can be for.

  • What I’m offering is space to think through how you want to integrate this way of seeing and working, not from a place of extraction, but from a place of alignment.

  • Bring your questions, and the ethical tension you’ve been sitting with as you try to balance honoring your clients and dismantling the very systems that taught you how to “help.”

  • We’ll talk through it. We’ll name what’s yours to carry, and what isn’t. And I’ll support you in building a practice that’s more honest, more relational, and more rooted in liberation, starting with you.

  • This session is part skill-building, part self-reflection, part mentorship. Not because I know everything, but because I’ve been living this, in my clinical leadership, my community work, and my own life, for over a decade.

For Therapists, Coaches, and Facilitators

How It Works

This is a single, 60-minute 1:1 session over Zoom. It’s intimate, spacious, and focused on you.

After booking: You’ll receive a quick intake form once you book, so I can get a sense of what you’re holding and what you want to focus on, whether it’s a pattern you’re stuck in, a rupture you don’t know how to repair, or questions about how to use relational skills in your work.

During the call: We’ll slow things down. I’ll ask questions, offer frameworks, and reflect back what I hear. Not as a therapist, but as someone who has been living and teaching this work in real-time for years. I may offer scripts, mindset shifts, or somatic cues to notice. You’re welcome to take notes, or just show up exactly as you are.

After the call: You’ll receive a written recap of the major insights and suggestions, delivered within 72 hours. This is not a transcript, it’s a distilled, actionable summary to carry forward with you.

Investment: $499 for a 60-minute live zoom session. No recording, no replay. Reschedules allowed up to 48 hours in advance. No refunds.

That’s it. No complex funnels. No extra prep work. Just one powerful hour, centered around your truth.

Why This Session Matters (Why Me)

I’m Christabel and I’m not new to this. I’ve spent 13 years in healthcare, currently managing 84 staff at a trauma hospital serving some of the most marginalized patients in the country. I lead with cultural competence and clarity under pressure. I’ve mediated high-stakes conflict. I know how to de-escalate tension and speak truth without shame.

I’m also the creator of Relational Skills for Liberation, a workbook, workshop, and platform that’s helped tens of thousands of people name their truth, unlearn Western therapy-speak, and build relationships that can actually hold complexity. Over 1,000 copies of my workbook have been sold and hundreds have joined my workshop.

I grew up under intense pressure as a queer African daughter of a traumatized single mother who survived the Biafran genocide. I know what it means to parent your parent, to carry more than your share, and still want to live a life full of joy, clarity, and love.

I’m not here to sell perfection. I’m here because I’ve earned the kind of wisdom that comes from living it. CPTSD, religious trauma, caregiving, heartbreak, executive dysfunction, I’ve walked with all of it. And I’ve found a way through.

Positionality, Power & Respect

I enter this space as a Black, queer, African immigrant woman who carries lived and ancestral wisdom shaped by colonization, displacement, CPTSD, and a deep commitment to collective care. My frameworks are rooted in relational accountability, indigenous knowledge systems, and the kind of truth-telling that doesn’t center comfort, but does center clarity.

If you’re coming into this space as a white person, a cis man, or someone with dominant social power, I invite you to be mindful of how those dynamics show up, not just in the world, but in how you relate, learn, and ask to be held.

This is not a space for extraction or performance. It’s a space for reverence, for mutuality, for learning how to be in right relationship, even (especially) when it feels unfamiliar. You’re welcome here if you come with openness, a willingness to be challenged, and respect for the labor it takes to hold these conversations while living inside the systems we’re trying to unlearn.

If you’ve been taught to center your comfort, your sense of being “good,” or your intellectual understanding of equity, this space might feel disorienting. That’s okay. I won’t coddle you, but I will meet you with truth and care.

Essentially, mind yourself , come correct and we’ll be good.

Strategy Session FAQs

  • No. I’m not your therapist, and this is not a substitute for therapy. I’m a nurse educator, writer, and relational healing facilitator who’s walked the road I teach from. What I offer is perspective, practical tools, and deep reflection grounded in lived experience. This is peer-to-peer support rooted in clarity, compassion, and relational skill.

  • No. These calls are live only and intentionally ephemeral. I want to preserve the integrity and honesty of what we share. You’re welcome to take notes or ask follow-up questions if something needs revisiting later.

  • That’s fine. We can figure it out together. The intake form helps us set direction, but you’re allowed to show up confused, messy, unsure. That’s often where the best work begins.

  • If it makes sense, sure. But this isn’t a coaching program with templates and tasks. This is a one-on-one space to reflect, sort through your thoughts, ask questions, and find your own language for the life you want to build. That said, I might share frameworks, scripts, or journal prompts if they’ll help you keep the momentum going.

  • I love when practitioners join these sessions. Many therapists, educators, and space holders follow my work because they want to integrate relational frameworks that are trauma-informed, anti-ableist, and liberation-rooted. Whether you’re looking to embody these skills more deeply or adapt them into your own practice, we can talk about that too.

  • You’re welcome to book more than once if you find our time together supportive. Just keep in mind that availability is limited and sessions are first-come, first-served. I’m not offering bundles at this time, and I’ll be honest if I think what you need is better suited for therapy or a different kind of support.
